my 1996 Manuel Contreras II Flamenco concert guitar. This thing is freaking awesome. Sounds unbelievable. Scored it offa craigslist in NC a couple of years ago. I have the original papers from the PO who bought it in Madrid, Spain in 1996.
I keep it in the case when not playing. I wash my hands before I even touch it, and wipe her down after I play her.
I really should play more than I have been for the last year but my new job and new Porsche hobby are taking time from her. Plus I busted my index finger nail yesterday working on my car, so no guitar for a week or 2. :sad:
This guitar is great for classical music, too. I play Bach, Dowland, Rodrigo, Villa-Lobos, Albeniz, Tarrega on her -- sounds like a CD you would buy in the store.
When I open the case and play her, she fills the room with the aroma of cedar...
