Jodi, I think you are asking about posting a picture to Pelican?

If so you need to find the file on your drive, right click on it and look at it's Properties. This will tell you how big the file is in bytes. If you have your Views set to details or your mouse cursor set to show you the pop up info as you hold it over a file then this will do the same thing.

Take the image file into a paint program. I like Paint Shop Pro. Your camera should have come with one. In a decent graphics program you can resize the image and make it smaller. I like to save the original image to a different file that I resize and add "pelican" somewhere in it's name. Make it just under the limit, 62k, as you can and save it as a JPEG "jpg" file.

Now when you write a message using the Post Reply icon and not the quick message at the bottom of the page, click on Attach file: / Browse and find your image. Most likely it will be in the My Documents/My Pictures folder. I like to use the Thumbnail View on my XP Pro O/S when browsing.
