A friend of mine is a germaphobe...he told me that washing your hands in a public bathroom and then touching the faucet handle, then the door handle to push or pull the bathroom door open is, in his words, "suicide".
There are apparently more germ condos on the hardware in a public bathroom than anywhere else humans lurk.
