One of my roommates in college did that. We still tease him to this day about his "mis-shapen @$$hole".
I don't get hung up on germs that much. Most of the people I know that are ultra-concerned about them also get sick frequently. I figure my immune system is in better shape from its frequent workouts. That's not to say I don't wash my hands and I don't handle food shared with other people, but I also don't freak out about shaking hands or opening bathroom doors.
