Also, the "news" is in the business of making money (No, the are not in the business of providing news.). So, the more "shock value" a story has, the more visitors they have (or viewers, etc.), and therefore the more advertisers they get, therefore the more money they make. Don't believe all the hype.

its not just whats on the internet. its the legal software that we buy and put on our computers. we have NO idea what that software is doing in the background.
every thing we do is sent off to be studied to find out what we like so adds can target us.
imagine all the info bill gates get from up just with windows.
