NOt my wife but my grandmother. She was 72 at the time.
The entire family was at Mardi Gras, the kids were in the truck bed as the floats went by, some grandmother type was standing in between the truck and the floats. As the beads were thrown to the kids this old woman was grabbing them the same time as the kids were, she would rip the beads out of thier hands. My Grandmother gave her a warning, twice. The old girl kept it up, after several more times of this my Grandmother hauled off and punches the shiet out of her. With a bloody nose she moved down the street, with my Grandmother giving her hell all the way. Never messed with Granny again.
