I had this happened to my 88 951S execpt it was the bumper/header panel. Bodyshop guy who did it on the side. I brought it back to him and he stated he was trying to compensate for the age of the old paint. He told me he was busy and would call me when he frees up to repaint. That was 4 years ago.
Too bad, for him, he missed out on buiding my race car ($5-7K).
In the end, the saying is always right.... You get what you pay for.
