I had a close call with a chick a few years ago. Met her at the place where I buy my steel (warning sign #1) - she was an artist (warning sign #2) and picking up some supplies for a project. We went out for drinks and she tells me right up front that she's in the process of getting a baby installed (warning #3). She already had a guy picked out at the sperm bank, and was just saving up some cash. She was also in a band (warning sign #4). And was on psych meds (welbutrin and paxil, IIRC) (warning sign #5). I still tapped it - out of principle - but I pulled the ripcord with time to spare. She tracked me down on FB a couple years later; she's now in a 'domestic partnership' with another chick and has a kid now.
