My first job out of high school was working at a drive-in late 70's..........$2.89 an hour if I remember right.

It was fun as working the front entrance ticket booth, you could get all your friends in for free, and as security, we'd walk around and bust people for booze and pot and take it all from them, only to be consumed by the employee staff later that night.

Picking up used condoms thrown out of car windows from the back rows of the drive-in early Saturday Morning before the swap meet started I left to the others on the clean up crew.......


good times. Back to your Question, I remember Mom/Dad taking us to see American Graffiti early on, and Jaws was one of the last.......seeing a 135 foot wide big screen shark eat everything in sight, no wonder Mom wouldn't let me become a certified scubadiver that year..

Kids of today seem to be happy watching a movie on their 3" screen Iphone, I simply can't understand that concept.
