I wouldn't have called the town, i'de just have taken out the light
And sold the pole off for scrap metal (or used as firewood if wood).
Oh, and if you have that electrical wire on your property, you can short out the main fuse whenever you want, just take the 2 wires, put a breaker switch on it.. Embargo ON!
