The liners are thicker I believe in the 85/2 and above......
The original rings were different.... but now parts suppliers seem to be using the 944 turbo rings with the better spring (oil scraper) ring for the NA's as well.
SoCal? how much of a gain do you get from the 3.0 L bore.... in an NA, I have only seen turbo examples of the 3.0 L bore?
