I am watching this with interest, as I am looking to buy a set of lines that are not in perfect condition.
I want to try repairing them, perhaps by combining good sections together with other good sections. If I have success I will pass on the info to all.
One of the biggest problems is shipping. Does anyone have a photo of the Elephant lines as they are shipped? I would think a sheet or two of plywood in the appropriate size is necessary.
