Sorry Cory - missed your post...not sure what it should be
OK -
I cleaned the idle stab (off car) with a good long and repeated cleaning
I cleaned the stock AFM as best as I could (off the car)
stock AFM back on....stock chip back in...moved micro switch up...drove - seemed "better"
today - reset idle using by-pass plug on idle circuit
reset Co% (which was pretty high, almost 3.5 - set now to 1.00%) with O2 sensor unplugged
reset idle (first) using by-pass
O2 plugged back in
she seems to have calmed down a lot - weather is weird here today so no long drives (snow around) but the drive home was at least smoother than before.....
we never figured out what the manual was trying to say in those pics above...
my mechanic said this was most likely fine tune adjustment and getting them right might take a couple tries - we found no bad parts or had already replaced the suspect parts
i really want the MAF and chip back in (better throttle response) but for now I am going to see if this calms down - then take the next step....track days coming - gotta have it right by then!!
