A 'friend' may have put rocks in your rear hub caps. It's an old trick. Very very old - now if you say you don't have hub caps, you have been ripped off.
One thing you didn't share is if this started all of a sudden, or has been a gradual onset and gradually got louder - if this is a new to you car or what - give us some information.
