To add a boost of confidence those lurking on this thread, considering making this switch. I replaced my 5 year old with 14000 miles on them stock bushings/coupler with one from Ed (along with a fluid change, (Swepco to Kendall). Results, while not over the top, are definite. I don't fear 2nd to 3rd for "bouncing off with a grind", ditto the aggressive downshift from 4th through third to 2nd at the track. Much more confident feel on shifts both directions. Just do it.
