I see it as win-win.
1) son learns how to drive stick in a 911 (how cool is that when you are 17??)
2) if the 30yr old gearbox is hurt, i get a rebuilt 915 with fresh syncros and maybe a Guard LSD
Win-win.
Maybe I can even charge the local teens to learn how, and help fund the new parts.
