I think it is a great idea. it gets kids exposure to cars they wouldn't otherwise be allowed to touch much less drive. Barry Wolk did it last year in his pristine 356 Continental and while he was apprehensive he said he and the kids had a great time and the car made it through unscathed.

I assure you, no Porsches were harmed in this event. Would do again. Taught 29 kids and 2 adults to drive a stick in one day. Great fun! Will probably offer my '33 Continental or '41 Ford pick-up next time. The kids were amazingly respectful.
