I'm no wide body expert, but I know there was a factory turbo-look option. But I am not sure if it was offered in '79 (I don't think so). Maybe you got a 930 body shell with a different motor? You might want to post your VIN so those more knowledgeable than I can help.
Also, post some more pics of your car!
