There are books' worth of material on this subject. I'd wash it again at home, dry it with a chamois and then, out of the sun and when totally dry, use the various Zaino Bros. treatments. They are miracles in bottles, but take some elbow grease. And you have to use the highest quality cotton towels you can buy. You will be amazed by the results.
