Shane's shot and Carl's shot came fairly close together in time... walkers probably heard both.
The heli could be anything... military, hijacked weather chopper, etc.
Tonight's "problem list:"
1. Rick didn't need to taunt the walkers in order to get them to come after him in the barn. Dumb... just go up the ladder, they're not blind.
2. Rick and Carl could've easily waited longer for more walkers to come into the barn before lighting them off. They were completely safe up in the hayloft.
3. Jimmy drives the Winnebago over to the barn and places it perfectly so Rick and Carl can jump on the roof. Why doesn't he take off as soon as he hears their feet slam down on it? Why does he even get up from the driver's seat? Dumb.
4. Maggie and Glenn in that Lexus or whatever SUV; she comes to a stop and a bunch of walkers are in front of her. When Glenn tells her to go, why does she say, "I can't get through?" Hasn't she ever dealt with pedestrians before?
But seriously... no reason she shouldn't know that she can run 'em over with a vehicle with that much ground clearance.
