Well, let's just say a LOT more. Without the costs of upkeep, insurance and all that. But you can't drive an index fund, can you? Don't kid yourself though. NEVER call a car, any car, an investment. Guys are probably going to weigh in here. Tell me how much Ferrari GTO's have gained since '64, or 427 Shelby Cobras, or.. blah-blah woof-woof. Guess what? The market index beats even that. Wanna buy a car because you like it, and can afford it? Do it. But don't EVER fool yourself into thinking it's an "investment". Just an old fart's advice, which nobody wants to hear anyway. But, like a steer, I keep trying...
