We tried curbside recycling years ago but the rules and restrictions were too difficult. I would have spent hours per week washing and sorting trash, not to mention removing labels from cans and bottles. It simply wasn't worth it and the city cancelled the program shortly after it started. I use the city's recycling center as much as possible (batteries, old oil and paint, cardboard, aluminum, vinyl, etc...)
