IF it's a style of lager THEN by definition pilserner must be lager
Lager means bottom fermented, so is Pilsener
Pilsner means filtration and refrigeration used during the brew..
The other way around would be possible, It could be lager, but not pilsner.. But that's not the case for Stella Artois.. Look it up on the pilsner wiki page, it lists Stella Artois as a Pilsener..
Also ,in Flemish/Dutch, we don't even have a word for lager, we just say "pils", "lager" does not exist around here, you'de have to cross the English Channel to get some..
