Did your mechanic replace the tensioners and ramps? There are threads here about
hydraulic tensioners failing.
In any event, with the constant sound of the chain on the housing like that, you shouldn't run it again. It doesn't sound as if you're getting any tension on the chain. Consider towing to the mechanic. I wouldn't drive it.
