The easiest way to install the sleeve in the tunnel is to thread a small 10 mm od washer on to the pedal end after removing the ball socket. Leaving room on stud behind the washer attach the tube to the rod with tape. After prepped remove the rod from tunnel from engine bay side. Keep in mind you may have to tug slightly to knock out the bushings in the center tunnel. The tube replaces these. Pull untill tube is just flush with the flange. Doing it this way allows you to not remove the parking brake and everything else. Installing cable is same as normal except slack is removed at the black theaded sleeve at firewall.
