Dry. I replaced mine this year with the gasket kit that has a bead of silicone on the lowers. I had used the all silicone ones up to that point.

I have no oil drips from the covers whatsoever.


Be sure to torque the valve cover nuts properly(inside to outside, crisscross) and to the correct torque setting.
