Too Cold for a Valve Adjustment?

I was planning to do a valve adjustment today, as it is the only day that my schedule will allow. The car has not been started for two days. I pushed it into the garage this morning, but the car has been outside and the current temperature is 26 degrees.

I understand that adjusting the valves with any heat in the engine is a big no-no, but is there an issue with low temperatures? I know that laying on the garage floor will be unpleasant and it will take forever for all the oil to drain, but other than that, can I get an accurate adjustment?
