Like it or not, half the inside of the human torso is designed mostly around moving material through 30 feet of tubing which is mostly contained inside a bag called the peritoneum.
When we males are developing in the womb, the scrotal sack developes similar to the ovaries, but descend later through a couple slits in the peritoneum which don't fully close.
Too much pressure inside, and that tube is forced outside the bag.
That's why big, tough 300lb weightlifters get hernias. Out through the anus or peritoneum.
Eat your fiber kids. They weren't kidding.
