How is that OK? An unsual action suggestive of terrorist activity* occurs and the airline refuses to release the name of the pilot? The pilot's (and airline's) right to privacy trumps national safety?
* OK, so this may not have been a true terrorist act. But that wasn't entirely clear to the passengers at the time, and the extraordinary actions performed by crew (notwithstanding the pilot) and responding passengers were done and allowed because of our post-911 paranoia.
