I found using our Roomba more work than using a regular vacuum. It was constantly getting hung up on rugs on our tile floor and stuck under furniture that wasn't quite high enough. Also, the stair sensor was inconsistent. Add in the pain of cleaning the Roomba, and it was just easier and faster to use the regular vacuum.
