I guess it all depends on what you are used to, I certainly don't find the HP2S to be a torture rack, but it is a more agressive position than the MM. I used to have a R1200C cruiser, which was about as relaxed as you are going to get, and it was very comfortable for about an hour and after that my ass would go numb from the upright position.

I remember the first time I road a real road bicycle after being a mountain biker for years. I thought it was blazing fast but it killed my crotch and neck, eventually I get used to it though and I now find a road bike riding position to be quite comfortable. There is a limit though, and a TT bike is not comfortable for me, neither is an S1000RR!
