Those freakin' Trojans.

It's one thing to "park" in a red zone so a passenger can return a video in the drop off slot at Blockbuster. It's another thing to sit and wait (aka "standing") while someone goes shopping.

We have people who do that all the time across the street from my office, which is located at a street corner; they park in a no parking zone to get something from the Coffee Bean/Tea Leaf. Sure, it looks like an empty row of parking spaces. But when those are filled with cars, it turns our little two-lane street into a one-lane street, thereby holding up traffic. People who want to go straight or turn right at the intersection 100 feet up the road can't do so until the long line of cars stuck in the left-turn lane clear out. I turn left from that street when I go home, so I have no dog in the fight. But I'd sure be irritated if I wanted to turn right and couldn't do so because some inconsiderate jerk decided his desire for a cup of coffee entitled him to inconvenience others.
