After the bottom latch is removed, you'll see how to remove the lock. A large nut but I don't recall the size. IIRC it is somewhat difficult to tighten it, don't recall having a problem removing it however. Make sure after you reinstall that the top latching device matches up to the bottom and that the cam on the lock is properly oriented, otherwise you may have a problem with the locking device releasing. As you can tell, I don't know the names of the various parts.
