I liked the color of the Phillips bulb, but the delay when it was switched on and the cost sucked. I bought one of the Cree/ecosmart kits that you mention. You're right, they come on instantly, they are cheaper (25%), and they look better (bezels). The color is a bit warmer but is still good. Thanks for the tip!
