do you have the car running when your checking .. the lead going to the clock should be always hot .. the temp gauge and the volt/amp meter will be 0 when ca is not running .. volt 12 to 14.2 .. and the temp gauge will vary with temp of the engine provided you have the sensors still mounted and connected at the engine .. that would also be an area to check if the PO disconnected them ....
