If you buy a Ruger, I suggest you install a Volquartsen extractor. I loved my MkII, but hated the tendency to FTE on cheap ammo. The new extractor made a world of difference. They also make nice parts for your 10/22.

And if you like a larger grip, the Ruger is available as what they call the 22/45 - which has the grip size and feel of a 1911.



Hoots posted a ruger with a silencer, but if you really want to go that route, why not just get a Gemtech Oasis upper? The silencer is integral, so you don't have an extra 8" weighing down the nose of your pistol.
