I'm also just getting back into astronomy, although I was just a rookie at it when I got distracted away from it years ago. I bought a telescope on my last trip to our place in OC. I'm looking forward to using it when I'm back in town. Here in DC, the light pollution is bad. You can see maybe 6-8 stars/planets in the night sky.
