Your advise was perfect! Taped the sleeve to the rod and pulled it straight through with no issues. The cable is much smoother to operate than the previous setup.

I also think I'm getting more throttle but it still doesn't give me full throttle where it clicks the microswitch on the throttle body. I adjusted the cable and even shortened my throttle stop at the pedal but when my daughter pushes it all the way down, you can still move it further by hand and hear the click.

Should it close the microswitch by pushing down the pedal all the way?
