To fill the tank, just rotate the pump handle 180 deg...problem solved.

Wheel stitching....there is a thread somewhere on this site that has instructions on how to make this repair.

Whale tail......I removed mine also, but it was a piece of crap anyway. I would leave it on for a while and see if it becomes more acceptable to you. by the time you buy another tail and have it painted to match, the cost might make your tail look much better.
