Well, that was weird.

I had pretty much the same thing go down on me in Loosiana. I come along in a lowered PU (not that low) with CA plates and a hard tonneau cover. The state patrol just knows I'm haulin' He does not have a dog, but he does have the 2nd officer in the 2nd car.

Well, I'm not and he finds nothing. What's weird is that I was carrying wrapped Christmas presents in late November to relatives in AL and I had a 9mm in a briefcase on the seat.

He must have liked me, because he didn't check either one. Once he'd gone through the contents of the PU bed, he was satisfied. He did have his reason for pulling me over.

Not a driving infraction, just some after market covers on my lights.

I removed them and went on my way.
