I was driving my VW camper with CA plates across Nebraska and was pulled over for no reason. I certainly wasn't speeding. The cop searched the car for a good hour, and was most excited when he found oregano in my spice supply. Of course, I had a full kitchen in the camper. Alas, the oregano was the strongest thing he found. After spending the whole time standing in front of the car in 95 degree humid heat, I was free to go. But he warned me to leave the state ASAP.

As an aside, I noticed that he knew nothing of the hidden compartment under the driver's seat. It was empty, but still. He really should have known about that.
