To such a point, that Ernesto Bertarelli has decided to give Alinghi 5's sails to...the victims of the Haiti earthquake! The light, waterproof, carbon sails have therefore been recycled to make tents for people with no shelter. According to Alinghi, more than a thousand tents have been made from the sails.
