Just met another Ferrari owner last evening. He does not like the car. 308 GTS. Every Ferrari owner I know wishes they had not bought it. Maintenance nightmares. Poor quality.
If you are a status symbol type go right ahead, you deserve the outcome.

What else is expected? It's nothing new since the beginning of Ferrari. 90% of those owners don't work on them and rather take them to an indi or dealer.
Changing a timing belt on a 308 GTS is easy compared to some servicing of a new Ford, GM whatever. Whiners... just the type of guys I like to buy their cars from.
