I was mulling over a VR6 conversion myself. I have yet to get measurements from a VR6 engine but will it fit without cutting up the rear cross member? I was thinking about contacting Kennedy to see if they would custom make me a adapter to slant the engine some and then use a dry sump setup utilizing the factory 964 oil tank. I think a dry sump would be needed either way but maybe not? Looking forward to seeing how the engine fits. I am in the middle of doing a 1973 RSR body conversion on my 964 now and with no funds for an engine, the VR6 with some boost may be my best options for some good power.
