the mcmillian m-70 w/custom black molys has already nailed 3 cows. its proven.
my son shoots the marlin 1895 stainless 45/70 w/ 24" barrel, nailed his 3x4 bull with 325 gr hornadays. its proven.
our A&P wrench nailed his bull on the run with his .44 smith 6" pistole with corbons-so its a proven winner.
hell even my socom -16 .308 dropped (1) cow one year. so its proven with 168gr federals.
all in all i about fell OUT OF MY CHAIR just now when i checked AZGFD drawing results and found out we were drawn.
it makes the rest of the year go by real nice knowing when bored.............load the truck,load the quad, grab a rifle and a pistol and GO RIDE THE COUNTRYSIDE and hitting all the water holes/stock tanks/ and being ONE with the land.
unit 10 is HUGE! beyond BELIEF HUGE! and when totally bored there, we just go over to the SALAD BOWL EXPRESS BURLINGTON NORTHERN SANTE FE HIGH SPEED DOUBLE TRACKS and watch all the choo-choo action.
its a great unit above I-40 and above williams ,az. that we have HUNTED ALL OUR LIVES! know it like back of hand. its THE HAPPY HUNTING GROUNDS!
plenty of mtn lion/bobkatz/antelopezz'z/deer-ski's/and a TON OF ELK/ java-leaners and other vermints to go after including the DREADED...................HONEY BADGERS!
and when totally bored from counting elk...............theres kaibab lake with TROUTS IN IT and a damn nice campground and great messikan food in williams,az when MRE's just dont cut it anymore!
