Over 1/2 of the population is female. California has a lot of gay men so that helps your odds even more.

Don't worry about finding a "girlfriend" just some female friends. Girls usually have other friends. Once they know you are a nice guy, they love to play matchmaker. Never turn down a blind date. You may have to kiss a few frogs to find the princess.

Part of it was that others were responding. If no one had been posting meaningful responses I would not have rambled on for pages on my own.

But you are right, it was getting old.
