I will be working another convention next week. NAB. Broadcasters. A pretty dry bunch overall. Since we are in 'financially conservative times' we go cheap for rooms at this show & stay at the Riv for $59 per night per room. And we never hit the bars in the casinos. We use my bar room which is always well stocked for shows.
We usually buy some good wine & have at least one pizza night - which is usually the cheapest & most fun night we have in Vegas - but I am a jaded 30 year Vegas show veteran.
Anyways, our treat to ourselves is a few good steak nights. No Tabs, we don't do buffets. After spending 8+ hours on our feet & with no lunch . . . we don't want to line up at a trough for food. Charlie Palmer's has worn a bit thin & we have Stack booked for Wednesday but we need a Monday feed. We have done the Circus, TJs, Binions, Delmonico, Mortons, Ruth's, that other one downtown . . .
We need amazing beef & a decent (but not obscene) wine list with some good French wines on it (we ARE representing a French company after all & that's the usual language at the table
). And strip accessible . . . not out in the foothills or Henderson.
Any suggestions? Carnevino? SW Steak in Wynn? ???
