So Sid, I am guessing you will shave for your upcoming new job?
I started to grow my mustache one day when Spiro Agnew was still vice president. He was talking at a local event and since I was a press photographer I had to cover the event. It was a fancy event so I had to go home and shave and get my sport coat and tie. I cut my lip real deep while shaving and I had a paper towel pressed to my face trying to stop the bleeding as I went through the secret service inspection. They took the lens off of every camera and looked down the lens to be sure it was a real lens. They put a sticker on my camera case that showed it had been inspected.
Anyway that was the day I said screw it, I am growing a mustache. A few months later I grew a beard as well. Agnew resigned October 10th 1973 so it was before that. I can't remember what is like to have a naked face.
