I'm bumping a semi-old thread to see if everyone is still happy with their Ecoboost trucks. My wife and I are very close to buying a new F150, but I'm still on the fence regarding Ecoboost vs 5.0. The 5.0 is cheaper and makes nice noises, but the Ecoboost gets better MPG and has that wonderful wave of turbo torque. Despite the added complexity of the twin turbo V6 I can't seem to find any common issues with the Ecoboost, and am leaning in that direction.
