Well, at the moment I am not really into racing cars. I like the canyons at a sensible but brisk pace rather than going out into the (really hot or really chilly/windy) desert to go around and around the same circuit many times.
Plus I don't like thinking of all the resources I am splurging by doing so. I like cycling and hiking better right now. But I stll enjoy the occasional blast in the 911 in the Santa Monicas.
But yeah, it does sound good in theory.
